Providing optimal optics to your aniseikonic patients is a simple and effective way of applying behavioural principals to your practice. Best management of aniseikonia (greater than 1D OD vs. OS) is through contact lenses, or iseikonic lenses. This should be a first step in addressing binocular problems associated with anisometropia, even if the anisometropia does not induce aniseikonia.
